Under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Assistant Representative and the direct supervision of the UNFPA “Promoting Contraceptive Security in Armenia” Project Coordinator the National Consultant will:
a. Review existing family planning guidelines.
b. review the latest evidence based health resources (e.g existing guidelines, books, periodicals, WHO recommendations etc) related to FP
c. Update “Medical criteria for modern contraceptive methods’ selection” manual in line with WHO recommendation and evidence-based medicine approaches
d. Develop guidelines for Obstetrician-gynecologists for effective family planning counseling and provision of family planning services. The guideline should include the following sections:
