On August 28, 2015, UNFPA Armenia held a press conference devoted to the latest, 2015 revision of the World Population Prospects and its implications for Armenia. The press conference was held at the Media Center and had two speakers: Mr. Garik Hayrapetyan, UNFPA Armenia Assistant Representative, and Mr. Ruben Yeganyan, demographer.
During the press conference global, regional and local demographic projections were presented to the journalists. The speakers particularly covered spheres such as fertility, aging, migration, et cetera that are of utmost importance for Armenia.
