On 27 of November, 2012, two-day International Conference on “Education on Diakonia” was launched in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Armenia. The conference was organized under high patronage of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, by Armenia Inter-Church Charitable Round Table Foundation, with UNFPA support.
The Conference will introduce international and local experience of teaching diakonia, its practical application and impact on parishes and communities.
The conference participants include theologians and experts from Armenia, Europe, and Central Asia, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues of Armenia, World Vision, and UMCOR.
