UNFPA and MoD met with Female Graduates of Military Educational Institutions

On July 25, 2018, UNFPA Armenia Country Office and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) Human Rights and Good Behaviour Centre organized a meeting with this year's seven female graduates from Armenian military educational institutions. The meeting was organized in the framework of cooperation program between UNFPA and the MoD, aimed at increasing the role and participation of women in the defence sector.

The meeting was chaired by Colonel Aleksandr Avetisyan, Head of MoD Human Rights and Good Behaviour Centre and Tsovinar Harutyunyan, UNFPA Armenia OIC. Professor Arthur V. Atanesyan, Doctor of Political Science, Head of Yerevan State University Chair of Applied Sociology, and Yeva Ohanyan, Psychologist, Medicine Sans Frontiers also participated in the meeting.
