100 YEARS LATER play and staging were developed within the framework of “The Prominent Armenian Women for Women Empowerment” campaign conducted by OxYGen and UNFPA in partnership with Nairyan Vocal Ensemble of the Mughdusian Art Center within the framework of the “Addressing Gender-Biased Sex Selection and Related Harmful Practices in the South Caucasus: Support for Regional, National and South–South Interventions” programme, initiated a theatrical performance showcasing 5 prominent Armenian public figures of the 20th century and their role in women empowerment and fighting discrimination. Actresses present MPs from the Parliament of the First Republic of Armenia: Varvara-Varya Sahakyan, Katarine Zalyan-Manukyan, Perchuhi Partizpanyan-Barseghyan and famous public figures Zabel Yesayan and Shushanik Kurginyan.
