On December 23, 2015, the Gender Theme Group held its final, concluding, meeting of 2015.
Armine Tanashyan, Head of Division of Women Issues of the Family, Women and Children Department, RA Ministry of Labour and Social Issues, presentated the Implemented Programs of the Gender Policy of Armenia.
Group of experts presentated the Assessment Report of the Implementation of the Gender Policy Strategic Program 2011-2015 and Strategic Action Plan to Combat GBV 2011-2015.
Both presentations were followed by Q&A sessions.
The GTG that includes representatives from different UN agencies, international community, RA Governemnt and NGO sector, has a purpose to promote and support the mainstreaming of gender as a crosscutting issue in development agenda of Armenia.
