On 17 October 2018, UNFPA launched the State of World Population (SWOP) 2018 report, and UNFPA Armenia held a press conference at Media Center, Yerevan, to announce the launch.
This year the report is devoted to "The Powerr of Choice: Reproductive Rights and the Demographic Transition". The report stresses the importance of individual choice in the matters of reproductive health and rights for the overall development and well-being of nations and society, as well as implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.
Tsovinar Harutyunyan, UNFPA Armenia Assistant Representative, and Anna Hovhannisyan, UNFPA Armenia "Support to Implementation of Population Policies" Project Coordinator spoke at the press conference.
